- From June 08 through February 09 I had my family and home ripped out from under me because my husband wanted another woman. I lost my job from a lay-off and had to have a total knee replacement. At the age of 59, this has been a very difficult road to travel. Starting life over at 59. Am I going to give up? NO. Am I going to sit and sulk? Absolutely not! How do I keep going? By the grace of God. He is my Defender and my Strength. He gives me joy in my heart and peace in my soul. The road may be rocky, but I can keep going with confidence because Christ is my guide. I reveal my hardships to give you hope that no matter what your trial, you can make it through them also. I live in NW Arkansas, surrounded by rivers, lakes, creeks and mountains. What a perfect area for an outdoors person.
